This repository only contains the small steering files (attention-head directions and detector probes) built on top of MedGemma. It does NOT include the MedGemma model itself.

Get MedGemma from Google here:
https://huggingface.co/google/medgemma-1.5-4b-it

Then point the code at your local MedGemma folder in one of two ways:
  - set the MEDGEMMA_PATH environment variable to that folder, or
  - set MODEL_PATH in config.py.
